I am looking for a solution for the same problem.
If a shared calendar has entered a new event, I should get a notification about the creation.
I think this will be an issue for the calendar app within Nextcloud to trigger a notification.
I don’t care wether the Nextcloud app on the iOS device or the iOS notification system if triggered for the notification.
