There hasn’t been an update in over a year with the last supported version of Nextcloud being version 18. I was able to get it to work on version 19 and now 20, but now that version 21 of NC is out is ZimbraDrive something we should look at moving away from? Is this a dead project?
You have already answered the question yourself. If the last provided app only supports Nextcloud v18 and no further updates have been provided in the meantime the project is most likely dead.

There have been long breaks in-between versions before. I’m more or less looking for a confirmation or perhaps trying to drum up interest. Who knows, maybe zextras will see the thread and be motivated to update based on interest still being out there.
I reached out to Zextras support, here’s their reply:
So this is dead. They will have a way to connect to nextcloud from the Zimbra client, but it looks like it’s time to move away from shared accounts between the two. Ugh, not looking forward to moving all the accounts…
