"No connection to Nextcloud" Unknown error -- Windows 10

Apologies if this has been dealt with elsewhere – it seems like it must have been – but I can’t find any mention of it here.

Nextcloud works perfectly on my MacBook. It has never worked on my Windows box. It synced perhaps once or twice early on, then nothing. Currently the error message is that the app doesn’t have any connection to Nextcloud at all, and that it’s due to an “unknown error.”

I can access Nextcloud via the web, no problem, but for me, that somewhat defeats the purpose of it.


I would try to change the url to “https://us.cloudamo.com/login” because “https://us.hostiso.cloud” is being redirected to it. A possible certificate check, based on the url, might fail otherwise.
