Nextcloudcmd for raspberry pi ?!

I want to install nextcloudcmd on a rapsberry pi 5 (raspian, bookworm).

Anyone managed to do this ?!

I found a few methods&hints online, most of them do not work and/or are quite complicated…

Any help very appreciated !
Vincent

Hi vmunich77,

Is your RPi already in active use, or will you start from scratch?

Either way, you could do worse than install it via Yunohost

Yunohost is a ‘management addon’ to Debian, that aims to make self hosting easier.

There is an installation image available for clean installs; if you want to add it to a running Debian installation on the other hand, execute curl https://install.yunohost.org | bash

Hi wbk, thanks for your reply.
Yes my RPi is already in use, with raspian/bookworm installed.

Best,
V

What I meant was not primarily whether an OS was installed (you already told so), but whether it has seen active usage, and has your custom changes and things applied.

  • If not, nothing is lost when re-installing new with the Raspian/Yunohost image;
  • If there is, installing Yunohost via curl adds the Yunohost packages via apt and some additional configuration to your current installation.

With Yunohost you can click “Install with Yunohost” via the public catalog (after authenticating against your server) or use the built in catalog.
