Nextcloud version 29.0.0 news app not working

First of all, thank you for sharing the --allow-unstable option!
But now that News 25.0.0 has been released, how can I disallow unstable updates for the News app? Running occ app:update --help did not show such an option.

There is no need to “disallow” anything.
Simply stop passing the --allow-unstable flag. If that flag is not passed, updates to “unstable” package versions will not be performed.

Hi all. I am interested in update my news version from 24 to 25. I have the app installed an activated in my nextcloud 29, but there is no update in the apps section. Must I install it by hand?

P.D. I try to use the occ command “sudo -u www-data php occ app:update news” but it gives me that the app is in the last version

maybe you are using an unsupported PHP version?

News 25.0.0 only supports PHP 8.2 and higher.

Yes, that was the problem. I was at PHP 8.1 . After upgrading my PHP to 8.2, there was the update for NEWS.
