I had searched the forms and noticed another user reported the same issue as me, however there never appeared to be an answer or followup:
Nextcloud Talk Windows Client starting issue - Support / Talk (spreed) - Nextcloud community
In short, I open the NextCloud Talk app from the Github, it opens but stays stuck on the clouds flying by but nothing ever happens. I have tried to install as administrator etc nothing.

Upon opening Nextcloud Talk on Windows, the app keeps displaying the splash anim… ation. It never opens completely. I've tried the beta as well and it's the same thing.
I'm running the latest Windows 11 Pro version.

The splash animation displays indefinately, and the app doesn't open completely.

Looks like you can get around the issue by deleting the Nextcloud Talk folder in %AppData% first then opening the app again.
