We plan to use nextcloud Talk on virtual desktops for video conferences. Of course, WebRTC causes high CPU utilization. With other video conferencing solutions, we use Citrix browser content redirection to offload the CPU load to the end device. Does anyone have experience of whether browser content redirection also works with Nextcloud Talk?

I would be curios to learn from you experience if and ho Talk runs in VDI.
From my professional experience I know common conferencing solutions like MS Teams, Zoom and Webex perform “media offloading” by adding a plugin on the endpoint. I’m not aware Talk can do this now. I don’t remember anymore but for some reason we choose not to use BCR with Teams - would really love to hear back from you if works well with Talk.
