In case the web version of Nextcloud Talk is involved:

The issue you are facing: Using Talk APP under custom ROM /e/OS no push notifications. Seems to be an error with MicroG (cloud messaging) as Talk is not registered there. All other apps like whatsapp, signal etc. working fine.

Steps to replicate it:

  1. install Talk App under /e/OS

  2. receiving answers in a chat will lead to no push notification (open app will load the new message)
