The issue you are facing: matterbridge integration exists (see below), but it seems like they do not support current Slack integration app/API anymore.. 
Is this the first time you’ve seen this?
- Yes - trying to solve this for the first time now.
Steps to replicate it:

I want to be able to chat with my partner company who are using Slack.

They need to be able to chat with me - and vice versa.

Text is OK - but of course if pictures etc are support - even better.
Did anyone manage to find something workable for this as of today? Thank you all!
