Nextcloud Talk 25.0.0 Android: forwarding messages containing images/attachments does not work
Problem description:
After updating the Android application to Nextcloud Talk 25.0.0, forwarding (Forward) messages containing images or other attachments stopped working.
Uploading and sending new images/files works correctly. The problem occurs specifically when trying to forward an existing message containing an image/attachment from one Talk conversation to another.
The same forwarding functionality works correctly on iOS. The issue appears to affect Android.
Server configuration:
Nextcloud Server: 34.0.1 (34.0.1.2)
Nextcloud Talk / spreed: 24.0.5

These Android application details are also confirmed by the diagnosis report.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a conversation in Nextcloud Talk on Android.
- Find a message containing an image or another attachment.
- Select Forward.
- Select another conversation/user.
- Try to forward the message.
Actual result:
The message containing the image/attachment is not forwarded.
However, selecting a new image from the Android device and sending it directly to the same conversation works correctly.
The issue is also reproducible with images smaller than 1 MB, so the issue does not appear to depend on the attachment size.
Expected result:
Forward should successfully forward the selected message and its image/attachment to the selected conversation.
Additional information:
- the issue appeared after updating Nextcloud Talk Android to 25.0.0;
- uploading and sending new images works correctly;
- specifically forwarding existing images/attachments does not work;
- attachment size does not appear to affect the issue;
- forwarding works correctly on iOS;
- Nextcloud Server: 34.0.1;
- server-side Talk / spreed: 24.0.5;
- self-hosted Nextcloud installation.
Please investigate a possible regression in forwarding messages containing attachments in Nextcloud Talk Android 25.0.0.
