Nextcloud sync (Windows Client) slows down after a short periode of time

Hi,
I am currently syncing data from my old PC to my new PC. Therefore the Nextcloud client started a 70GB download. At first it was as quick as possible, but after approx 30secs the download speed gets much slower. When pausing and restarting the sync, the spee is again very good at the beginning and than goes down. After a few minutes I just had 2MB/s left.

Both the nextcloud server and the PC are connected via 1Gigabit lan to the local network. The server PC is an old server PC with linux and hardware raid. The client PC has windows 11 installed.

Has anyone an idea how I could fix this? If you need further informattion feel free to ask. I just dont know where to begin.

Best regards Moritz

In many cases the virus-check slows down the speed, if there are many files to check, specially, if a 3rd party security-solution is in use. The most speed-down will happen, if the security suite als scans the https-stream.

I have exactly same problem with client version 3.16 on windwows. And even with one file it dramaatically slows down, downloading via web browser is fine. I rolled back to 3.15.3 and it works like a charm again. I’ve tried on 4 different machines and even on 2 different nextcloud servers

Seems to be time for a bug-report on Github .
