I just installed Nextcloud 27 with docker (linuxserver.io image based on nginx) and mariadb (also dockerized). Compared to a “normal” installed Nextcloud with Nginx (php-fpm) also with Mariadb the docker installation seems to be slower or less performing. The config.php is identical.
In general Docker is expected to add almost no overhead and perform similar to bare-metal. Regarding support of linuxserver.io images I suggest you reach out to their team via preferred contact channel.
thank you for your reply, what I’ll test next is the official image from nextcloud. I am wondering if there are some optimisation besides the base image from Nextcloud (based on apache)?
