Nextcloud on Truenas: Stable, Reliable, Secure, Easy to Manage, Update and Use!

I have been tinkering with Nextcloud on an Ubuntu VM on my Truenas server and have seen it go from really buggy to really stable over the past two years time. I don’t know if some of that bugginess has been due to issues with the Truenas or Ubuntu versions I was running, or me being an armchair network architect/administrator, but it all seems to be working reliably now.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

I really appreciate being able to use the community releases on my own private server to give me the security and control I want to keep my data private! I’m accessing it with my iPhone and those apps are getting better all the time too!

Thank You, for your continuous dedication in making Nextcloud available and better today than it was yesterday!

I’m presently running Nextcloud 31.0.10 on Truenas Core 13.0 and have installed it on Truenas Scale, which will be hosting my little private Nextcloud into the future.

Thank You Again!

That is great news. We usually see people coming here if they have problems with their setups. Many here don’t have a Truenas server (me neither), so it is hard to tell from the outside, what is wrong, if it is working etc. even helping, we are very limited.
