Nextcloud office not working on Nextcloud

Hello,

I’m having troubles opening office documents in my Nextcloud installation (Nextcloud Office v8.6.3, Nextcloud Hub 10 v31.0.2). When I try to open a document (i.e. .ods) it keeps loading forever.

I read this article (How to debug problems with Collabora and/or Talk · nextcloud/all-in-one · Discussion #1358 · GitHub) but I have no access to WOPI allow-list. When I visit https://yourdomain.com/settings/admin/richdocuments I get this error:

Could not establish connection to the Collabora Online server.

Failed to connect to the remote server: Client error: `GET https://mydomain/custom_apps/richdocumentscode/proxy.php?req=/hosting/discovery` resulted in a `404 Not Found` response: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>404 Not Found</title> </head><body> <h1>Not Found (truncated...)

You have not configured the allow-list for WOPI requests. Without this setting users may download restricted files via WOPI requests to the Nextcloud server. [Click here for more info](https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/latest/admin_manual/office/configuration.html#wopi-settings)

I’m not using Cloudflare Tunnel, but Cloudflare DNS only.

I’ll appreciate your help!
Mauricio

Based on the 404 error here, it sounds like you don’t have Collabora/CODE installed (or at least not the built-in variant which your environment seems to be configured to try to use at the moment).

What Nextcloud installation method are you using? You’ll either want Built-in CODE (richdocumentscode) or, ideally, dedicated CODE.

My phisical server was damaged, so I now I’ll have to install Nextcloud from scratch!
Thank you for you answer anyway @jtr

Now, in the new Nextcloud installation I’ve got CODE installed and running, https://mydomain.com/settings/admin/richdocuments shows:

Collabora Online server is reachable.
Collabora Online Development Edition 24.04.13.2 ded56d8ff7

But the screenshot down this message, says:

Error
    404
The page could not be found on the server.'

I tried adding to the Allow list for WOPI requests the IP 0.0.0.0 but nothing changes.

How can I fix this?

Regards,
Mauricio

Same with Office Online since some weeks but nobody cares…
The Cloud is unusable.

Office Online has also stopped working for public links after updating Nextcloud to the latest version — Nextcloud Hub 10 (31.0.4). Please help! I really need this functionality. When trying to open a file via a public link, the Nextcloud login window appears. Previously, the file would open directly, and I could click on it to open it in Office Online.
