Nextcloud Notes crashes on Android 14 (Samsung Galaxy S24)

I have got a new smartphone Samsung Galaxy S24 and freshly installed Nextcloud Notes.

I noticed that th app has an issue with synchronisation. Although it seems to work, the app reports “synchronisation failed” together with error information.

The notes list widget does not work at all. It remains blank and when touching it, the Notes app crashes with error report.

Does anybody else encounter this issue and is there a solution?

(Android 14, One UI 6.1)

What are the precise error details/messages? Those are needed to diagnose.

Are the notes that you create/modify on the Notes app appearing in the web UI?

Are you seeing any problems with the Nextcloud Android client itself?
