Nextcloud not upgrading to v24

My client is running v23. Why is v24 not offered as an upgrade? Do I have to install the v24 upgrade manually?

maybe you’re PHP version is too low? At least 7.4 is required for 24.

I’ve always found it easier to manually update.

I should read more carefully. Major upgrade are always done from the latest maintenance release. So, first you go to latest 23, then the update to 24 will be offered. Make sure that the background jobs are run at least once between the upgrades.
