Nextcloud Not Showing Push Notifications

Hello,

I have Nextcloud installed on my Synology NAS via Docker. The exact version I’m using is Nextcloud Hub 10 (31.0.2).

I’ve only enabled push notifications for external file downloads, which is the feature I’m most interested in. However, here’s the issue:

If an entire folder is downloaded (when it’s compressed into a zip), I do receive a notification. But if someone downloads individual files within that folder, I don’t get any notification.

The same happens in the Activity section — it only shows when the full folder is downloaded, but not when individual files are accessed. This makes me think there might be a misconfiguration somewhere.

I’m also using a reverse proxy (through Synology’s built-in system), and I’m not sure if that could be causing problems. Additionally, there are a few errors showing in Nextcloud that might also be affecting this behavior.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

  1. you have not filled out the → template ← and therefore basic information is missing
  2. you have a lot of errors, according to the logs
  3. you presented logs that have nothing to do with the error.
  4. Please be patient, especially if it is currently just guesswork because, as mentioned, the information is missing.
