I have been a little bit messing around to setup a nextcloud server. I tried one on Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS and on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ running dietpi. I have repeatedly set-up a few servers on different Micro SD_cards. Now i have one up and running with a No-Ip DDNS domain and a Let’s Encrypt certificate. Portforwarding is made to 443 and 80 in my router. So far, so good.
For some reason (probably because i have changed servers a few times) i found different NextCloud folders on my Windows 10 desktop PC. They were named NextCloud, NextCloud1, NextCloud2 etc. I have deleted all those folders and did the definitive install of my dietpi NextCloud server installation and expected that a new NextCloud folder would be created the first time i connected to the new NextCloud server… Nope!
How can i solve this problem?
I am not an expert an it surprises me that i seemed to be able to get such a server up and running! It feels like winning a gold Olympic medal to me.
