Just had a linux update this morning. Immediately afterwards, the Nextcloud destop app starts flashing a warning on the screen (so fast you can’t see it, only the outline of the popup window).
On the taskbar, I see (about every 2 seconds) the NC icon flash (gray like it’s starting, then a brown warning !), then it disappears. Watching the system monitor, I see Nextcloud attempt to start about every 2 seconds then it simply disappears from the list of tasks.
Nextcloud desktop will not start from the system menu, though trying to do so does cause the every-2-second flashing on the taskbar to stop so apparently a manual start attempt cancels the repeat auto-start. Nonetheless, I can’t get the app to launch, I can’t access the settings screen, etc.
My Nextcloud server is up and running and clients have no problems interacting with it.
Running Zorin OS 18.1 Core, Linux 7.0.0-28-generic kernel.
Update: looks like this is already logged in GitHub: https://github.com/nextcloud/desktop/issues/10600
