I’m coming from Owncloud 10 (PHP) and am currently playing around with Nextcloud.
Everything seems ok so far.
One thing I’ve noticed between the two is how much more user friendly the Owncloud desktop client is. The Nextcloud client log displays a whole tonne of different things, most of which I don’t really care about most of the time - I just want to see what is (or has recently been) syncing to the machine the client is currently running on. It looks as though security related items are grouped at the top of the list (I see a bunch of successful TOTP login notifications). Is there no way to dismiss or disable these? Some are over a day old.
Can the activity list to be filtered (and possibly for that to be persisted) to show only files sync’d on this instance of the client?
To be more specific, I guess I’m looking for something like Owncloud’s ‘Local activity’ tab on their client as it’s useful to see what has changed without having to go hunting through log files.
The docs around how to use the sync client don’t are a little light on this topic.
