Nextcloud desktop app 3.0.1 crashes on Linux Mint 20

Hi all,

I’ve found lately that if sync fails for any reason (Red cross in system tray), opening the Nextcloud Desktop app to see why causes it to close and crash immediately. This is on Linux Mint 20 (MATE and Cinnamon). I’ve put some extra information below, but I’m not sure what is useful and what isn’t.

OS: Linux Mint 20 MATE and Cinnamon.
Nextcloud Desktop version: 3.0.1 (current build from PPA at https://launchpad.net/~nextcloud-devs/+archive/ubuntu/client)
Nextcloud server version: 18.0.8 (upgrading to 19.0.2 very soon).

Are there logs I can examine or something else?

I had the same, since I use AppImage from the NC Site, there is no issue anymore.

Hmm okay, maybe I’ll give that a try.

I think the latest update might have fixed this, but my nextcloud server is now more reliable because I fixed some issues, so it’s a bit hard for me to tell.
