Nextcloud was (and is) working after an automatic update that seemed to fail. But the NC client screen is not showing after starting it from the menu. At one time, just after the update I could seen the sync screen after starting the client from a terminal with
cd /Applications/Nextcloud.app/Contents/MacOS; ./Nextcloud
I reinstalled v 4.0.3 and it is running and syncing. Starting the client app to see the syncing shows no screen. Starting the client in the terminal gives:
nextcloud.gui.application: Migrating old config from “/Users/ncdegroot/Library/Application Support/Nextcloud” to “/Users/ncdegroot/Library/Preferences/Nextcloud”
nextcloud.gui.application: Failed to move the old config directory to its new location ( “/Users/ncdegroot/Library/Application Support/Nextcloud” to “/Users/ncdegroot/Library/Preferences/Nextcloud” )
nextcloud.gui.application: Will move the individual files QList(“Nextcloud_sync.log”)
nextcloud.gui.application: Fallback move of “Nextcloud_sync.log” also failed
but that may be unrelated
