Nextcloud client 3.14.0 drops BigSur

It has happened again. The auto update installs the new version 3.14.0 without check whether the system requirements are met.
When you update, the error message only appears when you start the client. Then you have to get the old version again and install it manually.

As of version 3.10., only macOs 12 or higher is supported.

The version 3.14.0 has probably a wrong description of the System requirements:

  • macOS 11.4+ (64-bits only)

The last release 3.9.4 is from Sep 6, 2023. I have already carried out several updates in 2024 and had no problems.
Tested with macOs 11.7.10

Just read information at Install - Nextcloud and it states

macOS 12+ (64 bit, universal)

Do you have other sources to cite?

I mean the information for version 3.14.

Developer notes:

Hi, I just pushed Fix issues with minimum system versions and deployment targets on macOS by claucambra · Pull Request #7172 · nextcloud/desktop · GitHub to fix the root issue with the client on Big Sur and also am working on the updater server to stop delivering 3.14.0 to Big Sur users for the moment
