Nextcloud Certificate From Active directory Certification Authority

Hello Everyone,

I have been using Nextcloud for a couple of months and am facing issues with SSL certificates. I’m trying to install one from my Certification Authority, but my domain isn’t working outside my network despite being connected to my local DNS server.

Additionally, my online Certification Authority only provides .cer certificates. I’ve searched extensively on Google and tried many solutions without success.

My network has dynamic IPs, and my firewall is experiencing hardware issues that won’t be resolved for two months. As a result, I can’t install an SSL from the internet using Certbot or Let’s Encrypt since my domain isn’t connected to my network yet. That’s why I have my DNS server for the Nextcloud domain and the Certification Authority to create the certificate for the Nextcloud server.

I need help understanding how to solve this issue.

Hello!

The post is unfortunately hard to read due to missing punctuation, typos, and untypical long sentences. I have the impression it was created using a dictation software, am I right?

In its current state, I doubt anyone will be willing to bisect and analyze your writing just to get your use case and question clear. Instead, it will most probably be unanswered.

This, please, edit this post. Rewrite its content to be formally better English.

Thanks Christian

I’ve seen everything about it, and my DNS server is fine. I was wondering if there’s another way to point our Nextcloud server to the local DNS server.

I’ve edited it already; my dictation software isn’t great, but thanks for the advice. :slightly_smiling_face: :slightly_smiling_face: :slightly_smiling_face:
