Nextcloud broken following upgrade from 10.0 to 10.0.2 - web interface not working problem with .htaccess file

Running Nextcloud 10.0.2 on Ubuntu - I successfully upgraded from 10.0 to 10.0.2. My desktop clients connect but I have not access to the web interface. Below is the apache error thrown.

I followed these instructions to update my Updater. I then executed the updater to update from 10.0 to 10.0.2 and it completed successfully. Upon trying to access the nextcloud web interface I was presented with another upgrade screen presenting me with no other option but to upgrade to 10.0.2 (This seemed odd since I just went through an entire procedure). Upon completing my second upgrade procedure my next cloud desktop client woke-up but I am unable to access the web interface.

This has happened before, i.e., ending up with a system live to the desktop client and dead to web access and throwing the same http error. No one responded in this forum the last time forcing me to restore from a backup to regain my system. Some Googling lead me to others discussing looping issues with the .htaccess file.

If I remove the .htaccess file it works fine.

This is a problem considering my system reports a clean upgrade.

I’ve replaced my .htaccess file with the file that was working with Nextcloud 10.0 and the web interface now works. If someone would like me to upload the two files please let me know.
