Nextcloud box, will it update itself?

I have a raspberry pi 3 using image ubuntu-core-16-armhf-rpi3-installer-20170329.img
It seems to be working pretty well, currently with this snap:

I have read some different threads about other issues/releases … is there a newer one, will it update to nc12 or later itself ?

It still seems to be the latest available version. There have been some issues with NC 12 but with the next release 12.0.4, they hope to be able to upgrade:

To answer the question explicitly, yes the snap will auto update when one is available.
