Summary of the issue you are facing:

Android auto instant upload of OpenCamera creates files that cannot be sync with linux desktop client

Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):

  1. Setup Instand upload and include OpenCamera as source for uploads
  2. Take a picture and waits until it is uploaded

This file is available on the webgui and 6GB in size,

OpenCamera creates two files a .dng and a DRO.jpg file. Both are on the server, the Linux client only downloads/syncs the .dng one not the .jpg one.

You specified Android in the title, but this seems more like a desktop ↔ server client matter unless I’m misunderstanding.

What does the HTTP request for the JPG from your desktop client look like in your reverse proxy and web server (nextcloud container log in your case) logs?

You are right of course. I was a bit clear on that. The OpenCamera is an Android app to take pictures. It creates both a RAW and JPG image. The images are stored on the mobile device in a folder that is automatically synced. I want to have a look at the pictures, both RAW and JPG on my desktop device. I’ve setup sync on the desktop device to include the folder InstanUploads. The images are synced proper from my mobile device to Nextcloud server.

The Nextcloud Desktop app generates the sync error for the JPG file.

Use case: How do I successfully sync pictures made with the camera on my mobile phone to my desktop?

Please check nextcloud.log on the server as well as the desktop-client’s log in
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Nextcloud

The uploads were stuck on the Android client side though. But curently they do come through. The Raw images are 24MB in size so it might just be a networky thing
