Just noticed with the Talk app on my smartphone I was at least able to send a text message. From my browser (edge and firefox tested) I was even not able to send textmessages…

im having the same issue. updated to 29 and now talk is not available anymore had to restore to a backup before the upgrade for it to function

Please open the developer console in your browser, look for the error, expand the error and post a screenshot (make sure to hide any sensitive information)

If it can be of any help, see the requested screenshot with the errors that are generated when attempts are made to use Talk which does not work.

Have Nextcloud with a host provider!

@SysKeeper thank you for pointing to the developer console.

In my case the notify_push app was enabled (don’t know why) but the corrsponding docker container was not installed and thus every call to ws://mydomain.de/push did throw an error.
After disabling the “push” app within the apps site it seems to work again.

(Btw. What is the benefit of the notify_push?)

Internal server error is something that needs investigation on the server side, check the error logs in the server or ask your provider what is logged.

Notify_push should not have an impact here (in theory at least). It’s used to inform clients about changes, mainly on file level. Nextcloud works perfectly fine without it.
