Nextcloud access forbidden by server

All of the computers in the organisation have been locked out of nextclud. We can access via the web domain but are unable to link the desktop client to nextcloud

All of our clients have been updated to the latest version, nextcloud has also been updated to the latest version on our server

I have looked for the verion and see Nextcloud Hub 3 (25.0.1)

I am hosting nextclud on an ububtu 20.04.5 LTS server runnning PHP 7.4.33.

I was unable to get connected so I removed the account from the desktop client and attemplted to re-add it

I have attached screenshots to show what happens…

First I open the desktop client and select login

and enter the address of my nextcloud instance

I select Login

And then Grant access

When I go back to the desktop client I get the error - nextcloud access forbidden by server to verify that you have proper access click here to access the service with your browser

Output errors in nextcloud.log in /var/www/ or as admin user in top right menu, filtering for errors. Use a pastebin service if necessary.

Not sure where to find the error logs. There are a lot of logs in /var/www/ directory but unsure which are required

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have used nextcloud for years with no issues. This issue seemed to come out of the blue and I have no idea what may have caused it

Can you explain this? Found only this issue from this software. Do you use it? Do you use customization for passwords? If yes maybe read the issues or write an issue.

@devnull To be honest, Im not sure what LeipzigCorporaHelper is. The output from the logs is the first I have come across it.
I have a password app added but I dont use it.

Also, I now cannot seem to log in to Nextcloud at all. I am stuck in a login loop, When I put my username and password in, the login page just reloads

I am back in but unsure which app this relates to still, the password app was already disabled

I rely on nextcloud for uploading documents which my customers can then access. The impact that this issue is having on my business at present is massive

I have also raised the issue here but doesnt appear to have been looked at as yet

Do you have the file /var/www/vhosts/default/htdocs/server-status?
Also read this. Maybe you must change something in your apache2 settings.

@devnull within the directory /var/www/vhosts/default/htdocs/ all I have is index.html, there is no file/folder called server-status

Should there be something related to WebDav in there?

Also, there are multiple different .htaccess files located in different folders within the directory. Is there a particular .htaccess file which is the main one? or do they all serve different functions?

@devnull I think the problem might be related to WebDav as I cannot seem to connect with CarotDav or WinSCP either

@devnull When I test the connection using carotdav I get the following

Unauthorized

The url I am using is https://domain.co.uk/nextcould/remote.php/dav/files/Eazystore/
