Nextcloud-17+ldap zimbra

Hello forum, I am trying to connect nextcloud to my zimbra, in previous versions it worked fine for me (nextcloud 14) , with this latest version it does not allow me to connect, I have the open port 389 of my zimbra server , with this latest version it does not allow me to connect, I have the open port 389 of my zimbra server.

Any ideas or suggestions?

You are using a fallback implementation of the intl extension. I am using the same setup and it works on 17.

Will it autodetect the server port?
If that fails, can you ping the email server from the nextcloud server?
If yes to ping, see if nmap sees the port open from the nextcloud server. You will most likely need to install nmap.
nmap -p 389 email.server.blah

Hi sgocken , it’s strange, I can connect to port 389 from nextcloud by ip and by fqdn.
the port detects it well in the nextcloud gui, but does not detect the BASE DN .

You are using these values in DN: uid = zimbra, cn = admins, cn = zimbra

Did you solve the issue? I am still stuck at base DN.
