This is really odd. Esp the doc.owncloud.org thing - that is certainly not in our code. Are you sure the update was complete and some files from oC are not left over perhaps? I am trying to find out how this can happen but I canā€™t find anythingā€¦

Upgraded from 12.0.0 to 12.0.1RC4 using beta channel without a glitch! Everything went just fine!

I canā€™t replicate this on mine.

Same here but using the daily channel instead. Not a single glitch and in less than 5 minutes. No more T-Shirts :smile:

Tried to update from 12ā€¦0.0 to 12.0.1 RC4 on a PC running OpenMediaVault 3.0.86 - Debian Linux
First I tried the beta channel the the daily channel.
Both with the same result.
First I get this error message

Given the prevalence of using Letā€™s Encrypt, it would be great if the Nextcloud upgrader would accommodate this.

Morten, time outs are odd - seems a server issue, what do you see in the logs?!!?? Is the zip handling PHP module installed?

I changed my stable version (12.0.0) to beta and went to update to 12.0.1 RC4 (as admin). I pushed the open update button and it started, but failed due to write permission errors from the copy of the config, et al to the updater folder (the entire list of files was included). I logged on to the terminal (Debian Jessie) and changed the permissions to 777 on the entire folder, ran it again and got the same errors. Am I doing something wrong? By the way, this is a test server I have setup to test new releases.

update from 12.0.0 to 12.0.1rc4 worked without any issue on my testhost.

Hint:
SEL must be disabled prior update, if used.

Itā€™s not being used. I ran through the disable commands for selinux and they werenā€™t even recognized. Iā€™ll mess around with parent permissions for a bit. Thanks. By the way, I love your software. Keep up the good work.

Hmm, this only says ā€œsomething went wrongā€, any idea WHAT went wrong? Info from the logs perhaps, and what happens if you reload?

Actually I have no Idea what went wrong. Actually on updating to RC4 I got the same messing wich could be fixed by using the occ upgrade command.

I made an upgrade from RC4 to RC5 and it complains about this on top of the screen.

There were problems with the code integrity check. More informationā€¦

Itā€™s the music app and the same thing happened from version 12.0 to 12.01 RC4.
Last time I deleted the app removed the files and installed it again. Is this an app problem?

When I click at the integrity check message I can rescan and check the files.

So I tried the occ upgrade which works fine. So it must have something to do with the web based updater. And I was connected over mobile internet, sitting in a train while doing the update.
I donā€™t know if this could make problems.

I would guess it is a problem with the music app. But I couldnā€™t reproduce it. Update on my test enviroment runnes fine with Music app enabled.
Maby you finde something in the updater.log or the nextcloud.log

I used the web based updater and in nextcloud.log there are two entries during the upgrade.
