It would be nice if this message contained a link to the release notes for the new version.

You can still abort the update at that point, so it should not be an issue to have it linked there first. I understand your wish to have the change log link directly under the notification though.
Since the Web Updater reliably fails to complete upgrades I wouldn’t have clicked it…
