Summary of the issue you are facing:
New photos don’t show up in Photos app Timeline - only in Memories app and in the official Nextcloud android app under “Media”.
No help after trying to use the following commands
docker exec --user www-data -it nextcloud-aio-nextcloud php occ files:scan --generate-metadata
docker exec --user www-data -it nextcloud-aio-nextcloud php occ files:scan --all
docker exec --user www-data -it nextcloud-aio-nextcloud php occ db:add-missing-indices

I have no idea what the problem is. It just stopped new pictuures from being shown in the default view when clicking on Nextcloud “Photos” app. No change in upload process or folders.
Photos can also viewed in Photos app, for example I add them to the album in Memories app, and watch the album in Photos app.
Or if I set the filter in the Photos Timeline view to “Last week”: Photos are shown.
But no new photos in the default Timeline view. So the Timeline stops in April 2026.
What could I try next? Google, forum and AI doesn’t help me find a solution or explanation. The problem seems “only” to be in the default view of Nextclouds Photo app default timeline view.
