NCP - will there be upgrades possible to newer NC versions until NC Atomic arrives?

Is there any perspective on the future (“interim”) upgradeability of NCP?
I currently can use NC v31.0.10.2 on NCP 1.55.4 which is fine.
My question is related to the time until there will be NC Atomic available for productive use.

Will NCP support newer NC versions?

Will there be official support for newer OS versions such as trixie?

Any ideas?

What I can say, there is NCP v1.56.0 out now. This supports NC 32.
