The issue you are facing:
I got lots of Errors and the System is braking down - the mobile looses the password (seems to). I haven’t had the errors before I updated.

Hy I found something strange on the system:
It should run on PHP 7.2 and NC tell me that I’m on 7.2.
Froxlor tell me I´n on php 7.2 but it also gives a error to add missing php curl.
I tried to install php 7.2 curl but it is already on the system.
The root on the consol tells me I´m on php7.3 :nerd_face: .
So I installed php 7.3 curl packet and now something happened to the system:
The Errors in NC are much less… but they are still there (I didn’t check if i have all needed php packages installed at 7.3)
So I would like to do following but I haven’t found how:
use only PHP 7.4 and remove all other PHP versions.
Set the System to use only PHP 7.4! not 7.5 ore something else.
A look to the php folder showed alot of PHP versions - where do they come from? Auto system update?
I hope someone can help me with these topics!

From the log it seems, that your database is not running or not accessible, I’d check that first.

@ body well, that is true.
It seams that nginx and the database is breaking down with Load (upload from files to next cloud) it accure these error:

  1. Bad gateway
  2. Errors in .log file (see above).
  3. sometimes all web apps aren’t working as well. SSH is still active so the server itself is still reachable.
    After a couple of seconds (about 30s) everything is back to life.
    with the install of php 7.3 curl modul it went much better.
    How can I check the availability of mysql database under traffic?
    … before i upgrade nc everything worked fine and fast…

To determine, what is going wrong with your database, you should have a look at the mysql.log in /var/log. There should be something in it to shed some light on this issue. If the database restarts itself, you’re probably facing a data corruption in the database, which kills the mysqld, which then gets respawned. That would at leats fit with your description.

I have had a look into the log files - the mysql log is closely empty.
Sometimes it says it has no access to /var/www I cannot really see at the time stamp that this error is related to the malfunction of the server.

You probably don’t have the logging enabled in your mysqld server conf. Depending on the database used (mariadb/mysql) this config is saved in a different place.

However, for my MariaDB setup this config is in: /etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/50-server.cnf

Currently error logging is enabled on my instance… like this:

The error log settings on my server are the same like them you have posted.
The logging is still quite.
