Nextcloud version (eg, 29.0.5): 29.0.8
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 24.04):Ubuntu 24.04
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): Apache 2.4.26

The issue you are facing:
Every browser I use crashes with RESULT_CODE_KILLED_BAD_MESSAGE. Reload of the page works.
Issue occures since NC 28.0.x

Tested on other WinPC’s with verious browsers and got the same issue. Same is true from a Ubuntu box with cromium.

Only firefox still works. However, I guess this is only a matter of days, since I installed Opera which worked for a week and then I got the same error as other browsers do.

Am not sure this is a NC problem, however it only occures with the NC task app. Everything else still works fine.

Steps to replicate it:

1. navigate to tasks
2. try to move a task into a subtask by using the mouse
3. RESULT_CODE_KILLED_BAD_MESSAGE

The output of your Nextcloud log in Admin > Logging:

nothing found in the logfiles

The output of your config.php file in /path/to/nextcloud (make sure you remove any identifiable information!):

Output errors in nextcloud.log in /var/www/ or as admin user in top right menu, filtering for errors. Use a pastebin service if necessary.

I have had this for a couple of versions of nextcloud.
Not been a longtime user (in fact less than a month) - but it was with 2x.x.x and persisted in 30.0.x

Exactly the same repo steps as above.
