Nc-rsync - nothing on the distant "receiving" server

The Basics

Nextcloud version : 28.0.11.1
Operating system and version : Armbian-unofficial 24.2.1 Bookworm \l . 6.6.18-current-bcm2711 (aarch64)
Apache or nginx version : Apache 2.4.62 (Debian)
PHP version : 8.1.29

Summary of the issue you are facing:

I configured everything for nc-rsync, everything seems to be working fine (no error message wehter I use the ncp-config menu or the web GUI) but… there is nothing on the receiving server :flushed:

Is there a way to see something “verbose” or some log for the rsync info somewhere, cause I just can see this in the nextcloupi general log window (web GUI)

[ nc-rsync ] (Sat Jan 11 10:15:35 AM UTC 2025)
Maintenance mode enabled
Maintenance mode disabled

Could that be a permission issue ? Wouldn’t I still be able to see the file(s) (but not open them) if that was the issue ?

Found why : I thought I could use a subfolder in the home folder (on the synology), but seems it has to be a “shared folder” at the ‘root’ of the NAS (ex. volume1/shared_folder_for_back_up).

This way, it worked.
