IMHO ownCloud is doing a fantastic job to the client since the beginning.
Big kudos to Klaas, Jan, Danimo, Marcus and all others.
Nextcloud client takes benefit of it. In opposit to it NC has way more improved mobile clients. So everyone got a benefit as long as the interfaces are compatible.
