NC 3.22 on Android double auto uploads when in wifi range

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): 24.0.3
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): Centos VPS
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): Apache 2.4.x
PHP version (eg, 7.4): 7.4.x

The issue you are facing:
Auto upload photos are uploaded double when the phone comes into Wifi range.

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Since recently - Not sure. I noticed it first a week or so ago (around 22 oct '22). Thought it to be an upload error (poor connection or something). Never had issues before last week.

Steps to replicate it:

Relevant settings - Enable Auto Upload, set it to upload only via Wifi.

  1. Disable Wifi/go out of range. Take a few photos.
  2. Go into Wifi range/enable Wifi. Wait for the upload.
  3. Notice the first few photos upload 2 or 3 times (img_001.jpg + img_001 (2).jpg etc).

Previously uploaded files are fine… Only the ones taken while out of Wifi range are double.

Doesn’t happen with photos taken while staying in Wifi range. Doesn’t seem to affect overall functioning of the app. Consistently uploads photos that are taken away from the Wifi double.

Until recently this worked fine. So logically it must be a recent update.
