My Nextcloud App uses a lot of energy

Operating system and version Ubuntu 16.04
All software update to current versions
NextCloud App 1.4.3
Huawei Mate 9 with Android 7.0

Last week I purchase a Huawei Mate 9. Installed all apps fresh and yes also the NextCloud App that I am using frequently. I am a big fan of NextCloud!

I hope the energy usage on this phone can be improved now it is the most power consuming app and when it uploads photo’s it gets really high.

NextCloud all time consumes the most energy.

Have you tried disabling the automatic image upload? I would guess that is what keeps it active and thus draining battery.

Yes disabling works fine but than the feature does not work ;-).

Thanks for the suggestions. Its usable and upload is very handy for me. I wait for the updates that improves this. By the way, On my previous phone with android 6 that was no issue.

Very happy with NextCloud anyway!
