Hi!

I’m running a Nextcloud instance (Hetzner StorageShare) and love using Nextcloud Talk. I’m using the same instance via 2 different domains. nextcloud.domain1.de and nextcloud.domain2.de.

I set up the high-performance-backend via the install script from sunweaver, and it works for the first domain 100%.

The Install-script outputs a different shared secret for each domain, but in the talk-settings I can only enter one shared secret. This config results in talk only working when accessed via nextcloud.domain1.de and a signaling error when trying to access talk via nextcloud.domain2.de

Is it possible to either add a second shared secret for the other domain, or give both hub-instances the same shared secret?

Thanks in advance!

Nextcloud Talk HPB Multi-tenant Setup – Configuration for Multiple Domains/Subdomains

this has been requested before: Nextcloud Talk HPB Multi-tenant Setup – Configuration for Multiple Subdomains → sadly there is no known, documented method of self-hosting multi-tenant-service.

this is however offered by enterprise partners

Which of their service is the one solving “multi-tenant” setups?

I requested their 14-days trial via the Nextcloud-settings page, but it only works for one subdomain as well. When accessing the settings page from one of the other domains, I get the “invalid backend” error message as well..

Thanks in advance

you’d be better off asking them… we’re not affiliated
