I do not understand why I’m able to play mov files while I’m logged in to my Nextcloud account, but if I’m accessing that same file thru share link, then I get “No compatible source was found for this media.”
We got the same problem - the MOV files can be played from the Nextcloud after login in it and results in error message, when we share it with “share link”. We tried different browsers and no one works 
It’s awfull - as we can’t share video with clients.
Also, the video is played by share link on macosx in Safari (not in Chrome)
Is there any solution???
Follow the provided links and read the what’s written there. Alternatively convert the .mov files to a common format, like .mp4. You can implement an automatic conversion task by using the flow app.
You are absolutely true. But the problem is that the video plays from NC after login and do not play by share link

- How does your server and client environment look like?
- Which software versions are you using?
- Which browsers have you tested in which version?
- Check if the browser debug trace shows any information about the pushed mime type of the file.

As for errors - I see only this one in debug:
vendors~videojs.js:1 VIDEOJS: ERROR: (CODE:4 MEDIA_ERR_SRC_NOT_SUPPORTED) No compatible source was found for this media.
