The issue you are facing:

  • Steps to replicate it:
  1. Activate Android sync for two folders.
  2. Map it to a specific server folder (Both source folders to the same target(

Auto upload config:

  • Remote folder: /Fotos Familia/
  • If the file exists: rename
  • Subfolder: Year/Month
  • Keep original file on device
  • All other options off

Could you define what this means

Well, it is set to upload automatically, including existing folders. And nothing gets uploaded.

I tried creating new photos and see if that triggers the automatic upload. Nothing.

I tried manually triggering a sync from Android settings. Nothing

I tried deleting the app data and log in again. Nothing.

Moved this to a new support topic since it is unrelated to easysync ap

Thank you.

Hi @distante,
You are missing the required support template. Please fill this form out and edit into your post.

This will give us the technical info and logs needed to help you! Thanks.

What about the rest of the auto-upload parameters?
Also, which make/model phone and Android OS version?

I updated all the info on the first post.

As an update, I removed one of the folders and I see now how the remaining folder is being processed.

Does multiple folders (photo folders) can not be uploaded to the same target folder?

I will wait until all that folder is uploaded and then activate the second one and see if something happens.

Does the app have a debug mode? Should I inspect the android Logcat? (if so, which filters should I use?)

I updated all the info on the first post.

And the parameters “Only upload when charging” and “on unmetered Wi-Fi”?

As an update, I removed one of the folders and I see now how the remaining folder is being processed.

Was there anything unusual about the removed folder?

  • Does it have a lot of existing photos?
  • Was it an auto-detected folder or a Custom Folder?

Does multiple folders (photo folders) can not be uploaded to the same target folder?

That should be fine.

Does the app have a debug mode? Should I inspect the android Logcat? (if so, which filters should I use?)

The Dev edition does under Settings->Logs. The regular release requires logcat[1].

All other options are off, that’s why I did not wrote them (I added that)

Both are autodetected “Camera” folders, one is the Google Cam Folder, and the other one is the POCO system camera.
What I can see as special is that both have the same final name “Camera”.

The one being processed right now had 4000+ photos, and the one currently disabled 370+

As another update, I just realized that both folders are THE SAME FOLDER, but one is categorized as photos (4000+) and the other as video (300+)

So, I deleted everything and added the DCIM folder as a Custom folder.

Sadly the adb command from the GitHub repo does not capture initial logs, so I captured it with Android Studio first and then the ones with adb

That 0 items for remote path = /Templates available in sync folder db. Expected 1 or greater than 1. Failed to update sync folder db sounds problematic…
