Today, the desktop client team released v3.0.2, the second minor update after our 3.0 release some months back. As you might recall, this release introduced a new menu and marked the end of our testing period for end-to-end encryption. Today we also released the second release candidate of Nextcloud Hub 20 – your last chance to ensure the final release works well on your system once released – test it now!

Changes

The desktop client features minor bugfixes and improvements, mostly around the new menu, end-to-end encryption and upgrading to a new client version.
You can get the latest version on our install page.

As our download server tends to get flooded after client update announcements – you can also enjoy faster downloads by grabbing the binaries directly from github:

For Nextcloud Hub 20 RC2, rest assured a lot changed in this release but we’ll keep it to ourselves and the testers until the final announcement, as always! Grab the new version also on our install page or use the beta channel to update.

Please, give feedback either on github for bugs or below for any other opinions! 😍
