I am currently running my Nextcloud AIO server on a Linode nanode 1GB instance. It’s been good but I want to swap to a larger instance to try out some more features. I saw from looking at the documentation that backups are built on borg, but then couldn’t really see any documentation about how to use it to migrate an AIO instance. My data is set up in an S3 bucket mounted on / according to the web interface. So all of my data is in an S3 bucket. I guess my questions are as follows:
- How do I back up/restore from one AIO server to another/is it different from regular migration?
- Could I just rebuild from scratch and mount the S3 bucket again like I did before? Would I lose any data by doing that?
