Microsoft 365 Exchange-Mailbox integration

Has someone connected a user mailbox via imap/smtp successfully to the mail app in nextcloud?

Do we have to do some prior configuration in the microsoft azure active directory (e.g. App registrations)?

wild guess: wrong email or password. Or maybe you use 2FA and thus the login password is blocked?

We use 2FA. ;-)

May you have a description to go over this 2FA staff by microsoft. It would be super cool.

Thanks a lot

I think you’ll need an app password. But I’m not too familiar with 365

I tried this as well, but I wasn’t successfully.

Then we tried with thunderbird client, and didn’t get it to work. So we will open a case by microsoft.

I will come back to this issue later, if we have a solution.

Thanks
