The issue you are facing:
When I inspect the system logs, I see 100s - maybe 1000s - of “Info”-level entries stating the following: Notification was not parsed by any notifier [app: mediadc, subject: mediadc-task-alert]
I had previously (>4 months ago at earliest) installed and used MediaDC but have since disabled and removed the app as I no longer need it. After noticing these alerts, I reinstalled the app but the entries persisted, and then removed the app again and still the entries persist. They seem to populate multiples every 10-30 seconds. It’s not clear to me where these are coming from nor how to stop them and they are cluttering up my log while I try and deal with another issue.
Any assistance in stopping these entries would be greatly appreciated.
