Is there a maximum amount of groupfolders you can have? I guess, there is no hard limit but does someone has an experience if it’s getting slow for example on the settings > groupfolders page if you have thousands of group folders?
I’d question whether it makes sense to have many thousands of users on one Nextcloud server before I question the feasibility of having thousands of groupfolders…
I think the rules for files and folder get cached when they get calculated.
So the “limit” should be extremely high.
I guess it all depends on how often groupfolders, subfolders and files get accessed.
Purely having them without activity shouldn’t be able to slow the instance down.’
A real world test would be very interesting.
