Summary of the issue you are facing:
I need matrix functions in Euro-office calc, exactly FILTRE function. It didn’t work at all until last month (Nextcloud Office 11.1.2). FILTRE function works now, BUT the second parameter (inclure) can only test numbers and fails with strings and it is a strong limit of the function. Is it a bug ? An odd feature ? Is there a simple workaround (I already know the complicated ones) ?
Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):
-
make a calc tab with 10 lines and 10 columns. The secund column displays these 10 cells : 1 1 1 1 1 one one one one one
-
in a second tab enter this formula in first cell : =FILTRE(firsttab.A1:I10;B1:B2=1) This formula works and displays the 5 firts lines, because the test value is a number (1)
-
In a third tab enter this formula in first cell : =FILTRE(firsttab.A1:I10;B1:B2=“one”) This formula fails with an error code 533, because the test value is a string (one)
