MariaDB Warning, Debian 13

Hi
I updated Debian on my Nextcloud server, I went from Debian 12 to 13, I use Nextcloud Hub 10 (31.0.8), everything went very well and everything works normally, however I receive a warning for MariaDB, since I use Nextcloud in French, I translated the screenshot with Google:

I’ve tried all Nextcloud features, including Talk with HPB, and I don’t have any bugs or errors.
Can I just ignore this warning while I wait for Nextcloud version 32, which will hopefully support MariaDB 11.8?
Thanks.

Hey, generally we can only claim support for versions that are tested and all important libraries (eg database lib) also claim support. That being said, usually it’s fine to use other versions, as long as there are no breaking changes in those versions. In MariaDB 11.7 there was a new reserved keyword added, which could break apps that are using this reserved keyword (I think it was recognize, but it was fixed in the meantime). If all is working fine, I don’t see why you should change that now.
And yes, 32 is tested against 11.8.

I mean in theory you could downgarde to 11.4. But you’d then have to download it form here and install it manually, as MariaDB doesn’t seem to provide repos for older versions than 11.8 for Debian 13. However, I wouldn’t recommend trying that on your production instance unless you have proper backups and know exactly what you’re doing.

So, unless you’re experiencing any issues, I would just ignore the warning and wait it out..

Thank you for your answers, I will wait until Nextcloud 32, the server works well, even if I have backups, I will not take any risks by downgrading to 11.4, I prefer to wait ^^
